SINGAPORE , 1 September 2006 – Leading Singapore-based IT solutions provider CrimsonLogic is offering its clinic management system solution to general practitioners in Singapore for the Ministry of Health’s Medisave for Chronic Disease Management Programme.

CrimsonLogic will be offering its web-based solution, ClinicWeaver, to all general practitioners participating in the Medisave for Chronic Disease Management Programme at a promotional price of SGD$49 per month. The
package includes unlimited SingNet business broadband access and ClinicWeaver, an end-to-end Clinic Management System.
As ClinicWeaver is a web-based solution, general practitioners can access it anytime, anywhere as long as there is an internet connection. In addition, with its user-friendly interface and cost-effective clinical processes, general practitioners will find it easy to integrate ClinicWeaver into their existing work flows.
Having used ClinicWeaver since 2004, Dr Lim Bee Lim of BL Medical Associates found its accessibility and secure database extremely advantageous. Dr Lim said: “In the event of a late-night emergency, accessing ClinicWeaver at home is really useful as I could just call the patient and advise him over the phone instead of traveling all the way down to the clinic to access his files.
The system is very easy to use so navigating through ClinicWeaver can be learned really quickly, and I really appreciate the excellent level of service provided by the team for troubleshooting etc.
"Furthermore, in the event the office is involved in say, a fire, I could still advise patients and prescribe medication as I have an extra back-up of all patient files in ClinicWeaver’s server."
What is unique about ClinicWeaver is its seamless integration to a major healthcare management organization and Medisave for claims management, ensuring faster turnaround times. ClinicWeaver also enables general practitioners to receive laboratory results electronically for faster diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Working Together Towards an Integrated Healthcare Delivery System
To offer a comprehensive package to general practitioners under the Medisave Chronic Disease Management Programme, CrimsonLogic is working with SingNet, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SingTel, to offer unlimited 512kbps broadband access together with the package.
