Web-based “ClinicWeaver” automates clinical operations and frees up significant time for quality care-giving
SINGAPORE, 21 October 2004 – Leading IT solutions provider CrimsonLogic Pte Ltd has launched ClinicWeaver, a web-based clinic management solution designed with patient care as the priority. It helps automate clinic operations and administrative processes to allow doctors more quality time with patients.

A research study conducted by seven U.S. family medicine organizations within the “Future of Family Medicine” (FFM) project in 2002, showed that patients ranked relationships with their doctors as the most important. They greatly valued doctors who listen to them and take time to explain.
“To build a good practice, doctors need to move from giving ad hoc attention during individual patient visits, to developing continuous cycles of meaningful patient-doctor interaction. With many administrative functions automated, the doctor will have more time to focus on quality patient care,” said Mr Mathivanan.
ClinicWeaver streamlines administrative efforts and helps in managing clinic resources. Doctors usually spend an average of 30% of their time in medical claims. Another 10% of their time goes into managing, retrieving, searching and archiving patients' medical records on top of other administrative duties.
The process is further complicated when files and papers get misplaced, and important patient medical information gets lost and disjointed as a result.
With ClinicWeaver, doctors are able to quickly retrieve patients' medical history, manage claims and inventory online wherever they are. Single and health group practices with multiple clinics can benefit from confidential sharing of patient information, medical history and reports. Data for all corporate patients can be synchronized across the group's clinics. This eliminates manual tallying and speeds up billing and reporting.
ClinicWeaver's instant online “Drug alert” is a drug safety prescription feature which highlights drugs to drug interactions and possible allergy reactions to help doctors make more informed decision when prescribing drugs.
ClinicWeaver's ability to centrally manage drug procurement and distribution streamlines processes in real time translates into cost savings. The ability to interface to other third party claims systems also enables the practice to reduce redundancies in the process of entering and submitting claims.
