Accredited by Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS) for all commodities available with the EXDOC system, Meat, Fish, Dairy, Skins & Hide, Wool, Grain and Horticulture, Request For Permits (RFPs) and Health Certificates / Phytosanitary Certificates can be obtained and printed anywhere. EDNs (Export Declaration Numbers) can be obtained for the clearance of goods with the need for a Digital Certificates to be stored on a PC. PRAs can be obtained using data supplied earlier in the export process to ensure containers are allowed into containers terminals as quickly and easily as possible. Combine these core modules with the ability to produce a range of export documents the Trade and Logistics community has a tool to ensure efficiency and compliance from end to end.

Canada

Importers and customs brokers are submitting and receiving import documentation from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) via TradePalette WebCustoms. This web-based solution incorporates the latest security guidelines to ensure compliance with trade laws so that even users who may not have prior customs brokerage knowledge or experience will find it convenient to submit shipment and tariff information.

Carriers, shipping agents and freight forwarders are also able to comply with regulations set out by CBSA in submitting cargo manifest data 24hours before the cargo is loaded at the foreign port and conveyance data shipped before reaching Canada. The Advance Commercial Information service was launched so that users can comply with Customs Action Plan and better manage risks by identifying health, safety, and security threats at the border.

Ghana

Ghana Gateway project, aimed at facilitating greater trade between various parties, is a national trade facilitation platform with customs management system. Various public organisations and businesses are connected, and processes are streamlined for greater efficiency.

India (State of Andhra Pradesh)

Consultancy services on Public Key Infrastructure deployment was conducted for various governmental bodies in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Part of the plans was to implement single electronic window technology to enable the integration of transaction of water and electricity billing services. Another project was aimed at connecting relevant agencies for the issuance of building construction approvals online.

India (State of Uttaranchal)

The first State-wide initiation where statistical and biometrical data of eight million citizen information are stored in a Citizen Data Vault will be accessible by 109 Government departments for use of eGovernment services to Uttaranchal’s citizens and businesses. Groups of Citizens will be able to use PKI-enabled smart cards to access to government services either online or via public kiosks for tasks such as application of permits and government schemes and grants, tax payment and job application.

The process will allow the sharing of information that will lead to the integration of Government as eServices are designed around the lives and needs of citizens.

Iran

Iran TradePoint, a “one-stop” information portal is an online market facilitation system for the Iranian SME’s to obtain full set of services with trade information and facilitation globally. The portal enables Iranian SME trade to identify international trading opportunities quickly and more cost-effectively.

Ireland

Commissioned by the Irish Court Service, CrimsonLogic partnered Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Management Consultants to derive at Republic of Ireland’s eGovernment strategy on “eCourts: A 5-year strategy for information technology”.

Mauritius

Mauritius TradeNet is a trade facilitation service that automates customs clearance by integrating the functions and requirements of controlling agencies to enable importers, exporters and customs brokers to apply for and receive trade permits and licenses.

Mexico

Exporters in Singapore are able to submit certificate of origin to the Mexico government via the CertOfOrigin system. Once the authorised organisations approved of the applications, it will be transmitted to the Mexican Embassy in Singapore for verification and then to the Customs Brokers in Mexico for submission to Mexican Customs.

Mozambique

Appointed by CommonWealth Secretariat, CrimsonLogic provided consultancy services to Mozambique Directorate of Customs with regards to the competitiveness of its trade facilitation information technology efforts on modern risk management, transit management and customs valuation. An analysis on the current state of affairs and facilitation strategies and information systems are conducted to help keep the International standards for delivery of trade facilitation functions.

Panama City

The Automated Data System (ADCS) consisting of Electronic Data Collection (EDCS) and Mobile Canal Operating System (MCOS) provide Panama Canal Authority in its facilitation for Passenger and Crew Lists, Admeasurer Data Sheet and Ship Due documents. It also facilitates local Panamanian carrier agents in their submission of Transit Booking requests to the Panama Canal Authority via the internet. Canal Boarding and Security Officers will then be able to make their inspections aboard the vessels passing through the Canal waters. This system which includes a Risk Assessment Analysis tool, links data warehouse to federal agencies such as Customs, National Security agencies and the Coast Guard, thereby providing real-time risk assessment information on all vessels passing through the Canal waters.

Philippines

Philippine Bureau of Customs (BOC) has transformed paper application and submission of import and export entry declarations via the internet and cellular phones. Importers and exporters are making use of trade document submission system to submit applications and receive confirmation for manifest, lodgement, assessment, payment, tracking and online release of shipments.

As part of the Judges and lawyers continuing education programme, a highly interactive and intuitive multimedia-based learning has been developed for the Philippine Judicial Academy.

Tajikistan

Asian Development Bank was engaged by Crimsonlogic to provide consultancy services for capacity building and institutional strengthening for customs modernisation and infrastructure development in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The plan was for the development of customs border posts infrastructure aimed to improve customs border posts and facilities, provide customs operations and anti-smuggling equipments as well as extend capacity building and better border interagency cooperation.

Thailand

The New Bangkok International Airport, Suvarnabhumi International Airport will be using the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) to identify risk associated with passenger information.

The airport will be able to receive passenger information prior to the touchdown of an aircraft from the airlines companies. The list will then be matched with the profiles of those black-listed by government agencies, the office of Narcotics Control Board and the Thailand Customs. After the suspect list is generated, it will be sent to theAPIS monitor in the APIS control and equipment room and to the Personal Digital
Assistants (PDAs)
rovers on patrol and alert relevant parties.

Turkey

A one-stop electronic services portal, coined E-Devlet Kapisi Project (Turkish for "eGovernment Gateway Project") will allow Turkish Citizens and businesses to interact and transact with their government. When completed, this gateway will serve a population of more than 70 million people and provide a single point of access to eGovernment services of more than 30 agencies in Turkey.

USA

The United States Customs and Border Protection implemented the Container Security Initiative (CSI) to reduce terrorism associated risk on global cargoes. It is mandatory for all ocean cargo and highway carriers bound for United States to submit manifest data in advance. This ensures that proper risk assessment is done and submitted to the Customs and Border Protection (CBP). CrimsonLogic develops the Automated Manifest System (AMS) for ocean and highway so that shipping agents and freight forwarders are able comply with the regulations.
