| Accessible by 109 Government departments for use of eGovernment services, Uttaranchal initiated the first state-wide Citizens-to-Government Citizen Data Vault where statistical and biometrical data of eight million citizen information are stored. |

| Groups of Citizens are able to use PKI-enabled smart cards to access government services either online or via public kiosks for application of permits and government schemes and grants, tax payment, job application and more. |

| There is also a marked increase in the sharing of information and integration of Government agencies which resulted in greater convenience for the citizens. |
