Saw Ken Wye is CEO of CrimsonLogic, a company focusing on solutions, products and services for cross border trade (Single Window and Customs Management System), Legal and Digital Government. He is responsible for leading the business teams in growing customer relationships and driving sales in region such as Asia, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. To date, the company has 19 offices worldwide.

Prior to joining CrimsonLogic in 2013, Ken Wye worked in Microsoft for nearly 16 years with his last appointment as the Vice President for Public Sector (Asia). He was responsible for the company’s business with Government and Government organisations across Asia.

Ken Wye started his IT career with the National Computer Board (NCB) in 1983 and his last appointment was Assistant Chief Executive (Industry). While in NCB he was responsible for the implementation of the Japan-Singapore AI Centre, a joint project with the Japanese Government to promote the use of AI in Singapore.

Ken Wye is actively involved in the local Singapore IT community, with his involvement as a Board Member of the Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA). He is also the immediate past Chairman of SGTech where he had contributed his experience in helping to shape the Singapore IT industry.

Lawrence Ng joins CrimsonLogic as Deputy Chief Executive (CE) of CrimsonLogic on 1st April 2022. His responsibilities include managing key Business Units such as Delivery & Technical Services, Logistics, Digital Ports, Digital Government, Platform & Architecture and Cyber Security. Before taking on this executive role, Lawrence was a CrimsonLogic Board Director since 2016.

Lawrence has over 20 years of industry and management experience in large scale enterprise systems and infrastructure. Before joining CrimsonLogic as Deputy CE, Lawrence was the Regional Head of IT for South-East Asia at PSA. In this role, he was responsible for the delivery of IT services for the various PSA business units in the South-East Asia region. His responsibilities also include ensuring the smooth provision of network, IT operations and cyber security functions for PSA Singapore, the flagship terminal of PSA International.

Prior to his role as the Regional Head of IT for South-East Asia at PSA, Lawrence was the Head of Infocomm Technology (ICT) Division at PSA Singapore Terminals where he was responsible for the overall development, provisioning and smooth delivery, and execution of all ICT systems and functions in support of the various business units within Singapore Terminals.

Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Science (Information Systems & Computer Science) Honors Degree from National University of Singapore. He is a cohort of the Stanford-NUS Executive Programme in International Management (2005). As part of contributing to the development of the local ICT industry, he actively volunteers in Singapore Computer Society as a Vice President in the Executive Council. He is also a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for the NUS School of Computing.

As CEO of GeTS (a subsidiary of CrimsonLogic), Kok Keong is responsible for all business operations, including setting the direction and strategy of the company. GeTS is a global leading trade and supply chain orchestration platform company, enabling the coordination of physical logistics, compliance and financial requirements of trade and supply chain seamlessly, smartly and securely. He also double-hats as CrimsonLogic ACEO.

Kok Keong joined CrimsonLogic in 2006 as Vice President of the eGovernment Business Division, the unit that encompasses solutions & consulting, business development, business planning & international operations, and alliance management. During this tour of duty, the company experienced strong growth especially in overseas business, with major project wins such as eJudiciary project in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar Customs Clearance Single Window.

He then assumed the role of Senior Vice President, where he took charge of developing and implementing the company’s strategic plans. He was tasked to oversee the functions of Planning & Alliance, Corporate Communications and Corporate Legal and played the key role in managing the cross-functional structure of the organization. With the goal of establishing CrimsonLogic as the preferred eGovernment solutions company, he sharpened the company’s strategic position in partnering governments to develop and sustain viable solutions.

Prior to joining CrimsonLogic, Kok Keong held various key positions in Singapore Trade Development Board (TDB) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Between 1997 and 1999, he was TDB’s director for the Hanoi Centre in Vietnam. Concurrently, he was appointed as the First Secretary (Commercial) for the Singapore Embassy in Vietnam. In these two roles, he was responsible for strengthening Singapore-Vietnam’s economic relations and promoting business alliances between the two countries. During this period, Singapore was Vietnam’s top investor and trading partner.

In 1996, Kok Keong spearheaded a cross-departmental task force to develop Singapore's international marketing plan. One of the recommendations that were implemented successfully was to leverage on internet technologies to promote Singapore to the world.

Kok Keong holds a Bachelor degree in Social Sciences and an Honours degree in Psychology from the National University of Singapore. He was also awarded the Government scholarship in 1999 to further his studies in INSEAD (France) where he obtained his Masters degree in Business Administration.

Jeffrey Lee

Jeffrey Lee joined CrimsonLogic in September 2012 as the Group Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for managing the Group’s Corporate Services (Finance, Corporate Communications, Corporate Admin, Corporate Legal and Management Information System) to effectively support the management and business operations. Jeffrey is also part of the company’s Senior Management Committee to spearhead the Group’s future growth and business expansion.

Prior to joining CrimsonLogic, Jeffrey was the Head of Finance at AIA Singapore (a leading Life Insurance Company) since 2009. He was responsible for overseeing the entire finance, accounting financial management and controlling functions of AIA, covering both Singapore and Brunei markets. He was instrumental in leading the transformation of the various finance functions in AIA Singapore to better support the business growth of the company; in which the AIA Singapore’s success story after the AIG crisis contributed to AIA’s highly successful Hong Kong IPO in 2010.

Jeffrey has more than 30 years of international finance, strategic planning, financial controlling audit and accounting experience, having assumed various senior management roles in corporate services and IT functions in MNCs and large Financial Services & Insurance companies in Singapore and Asia Pacific Region.

Jeffrey is a CA with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, United Kingdom.

Jeffrey holds a Master degree in Business Administration from University of South Australia; and further polished his leadership and management skillsets through a Senior Management Executive Development Programme with Heidelberg in Germany.

Sylvia oversees the full spectrum in planning and implementing people strategies for the CrimsonLogic Group globally. She brings more than 20 years of HR (Human Resources) experience and leads the Group HR to develop workforce strategies, drives Organizational & Talent Development, and succession planning across the various CrimsonLogic offices and business groups.

Prior to joining CrimsonLogic, Sylvia was working with Jardine Lloyd Thompson Limited in Hong Kong as the Regional Director of Human Resources for Asia for close to three years. Before Jardine Lloyd Thompson, she was the Business Services Director for Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance in China overseeing Human Resources, IT, Business Operations and the Global Business Network across Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing.

Her other professional experience includes three years working with Convergys and seven years in HP-EDS, where she developed a strong familiarity with the IT sector.

Mentoring young working adults is something that Sylvia enjoys doing, not just as part of her HR role, but as a personal commitment to the development of future leaders in the community. She is an accredited coach for the Clifton Strengths Finder, Predictive Index (PI), Workplace Big Five and Herrmann Brain Dominance Index (HBDI), and inhouse mentor to emerging leaders in previous companies she has worked for.

Sylvia holds a Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, from the National University of Singapore. She is a Chartered Fellow with CIPD, UK, and also a certified Senior Professional with IHRP, Singapore.

Balagopal Nair

Bala oversees the full spectrum of CrimsonLogic’s business and operations in North and South America. Based in CrimsonLogic’s Latin America Region in Panama, he is responsible for managing customer & partner relations, drive new business opportunities, revenue goals and strengthen strategic accounts. He is also part of CrimsonLogic’s Senior Management Committee.

Prior to joining CrimsonLogic, Bala was Director for International Operations (Americas) of International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore), Singapore’s national trade development agency. He was based in Washington DC from 2000-2006, managing IE Singapore’s regional operations and assisting Singapore companies in their business and market development in North and South America.

Concurrently, Bala was also Counsellor (Economics) supporting the Singapore Embassy in Washington DC and the Ministry of Trade and Industry in managing Singapore’s trade policy and economic relations with the United States. He was part of the Singapore team involved in negotiating the US-Singapore Free Trade Agreement. Bala was also involved in the initiation of the Free Trade Agreement negotiations between Singapore and Panama.

Bala joined IE Singapore in 1984 and started his career in trade policy work. Subsequently, he moved to international operations work as Deputy Director, where he covered Europe, South Asia, the Middle East and South East Asia. He was later appointed the Vice-President of IE Singapore Holdings (formerly TDB Holdings) and was responsible for the operations as well as exploring new business opportunities for the company and its subsidiaries. Concurrently, he was also Director of Planning where he led the team that mapped out the Trade 2000 Master plan for Singapore’s international trade.

Bala contributed to the 1986 Singapore Economic Committee and the 1997 Committee on Singapore’s Competiveness (CSC) as Head of the multi-agency secretariat to the Hub Services Sub-Committee. He was also the Head of the Secretariat of ASEAN Committee on Trade and Tourism between 1986 and 1989. Bala was awarded the Public Adminstration Medal (Silver) in the National Day awards in 1999.

Bala graduated with an Honours degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore and also holds a Master Degree from the Imperial College of Science in London.

As Senior Vice President for Region EMEA-SA, Leong Seng is responsible to drive CrimsonLogic Group revenue for the Europe, Middle-East Africa and South Asia regions. He is also part of the top leadership team in the Senior Management Committee.

Before this role, Leong Seng was the CTO of GeTS’ (Global eTrade Services), responsible for the subsidiary’s products & services roadmap, and expanding the portfolio and driving product innovation. He has also taken up other roles, such as the Vice President for Legal Sector Group (LSG), driving growth, viability and sustainability of the company’s business through the implementation of efficient and cost-effective IT solutions to customers in the Courts and legal domain. He double-hatted as Head of Regional Headquarter Singapore (RHQ Singapore), where he was tasked to create and drive the business strategies in Singapore, while deepening customer intimacy with the respective key customers in this market.

Leong Seng joined CrimsonLogic in 1998 and was appointed the Project Manager for Saudi Arabia’s nationwide trade facilitation project in 2003. He later assumed the role of Programme Director and Head of Regional Pre-sales and Delivery in the Middle-East region, where he led his team in implementing several nationwide legal and trade facilitation projects, including UAE’s Ministry of Justice eJustice Programme, and Federal Customs Maqasa Clearance System. Later, Leong Seng’s experience in implementing successful projects in the Middle-East region enabled him to take on the role as Senior Director where he headed the RHQ Middle-East & Africa team. Some of his major project wins include Oman Single Electronic Window and Namibia eJudiciary System.

Leong Seng graduated with a Bachelor in Computing from the Birmingham City University in United Kingdom.

Isson Jacob

As the Senior Vice President of Solutions Delivery Group and part of the CrimsonLogic Senior Leadership Team, Isson is responsible for the global competency development, organisation excellence, optimal technical resource utilisation to ensure cost-effective and reliable service delivery for both Applications and Infrastructure projects.

Isson joined CrimsonLogic in 2017 as the Head of Global Technology Services, overseeing offshore software development centres in Bangalore (India) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). He was responsible for the initial set up of the Malaysian centre, as well as the Panama Software Development Centre for the delivery of projects in Latin American and the Caribbean regions.

Isson was seconded to CrimsonLogic India for two years 2017-2019 as the General Manager of the Bangalore software development centre. He was instrumental in leading the implementations of several global deliveries, such as the Single Electronic Window for the Omani Sultanate, Trade Facilitation Projects for several other countries in the African sub-continent and the Digitisation Programme for the Fijian Government.

Prior to joining CrimsonLogic, Isson was the Service Delivery Director in NCS, heading the Banking and Capital Markets sector managing a range of Banking and Sovereign Wealth Fund related service delivery. In his previous roles, Isson has worked as a Programme Manager for Mahindra Satyam Singapore and as an Application Manager in Singapore Computer Systems delivering Public Sector projects.

With more than 30 years of experience in IT delivery, Isson has led in the development and Implementation of several key National Systems such as the Patient Care System – PACES II (Healthcare) and the Army Training Information Systems for MINDEF, as well as the Singapore Citizen Information, Registration, and Immigration System (CIRIS) for ICA, Ministry of Home Affairs.

Isson graduated with a Bachelor’s in Commerce from the Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia.

As General Counsel, Hsiao Kang heads the Corporate Legal Department in CrimsonLogic. He is also part of the company’s Senior Management Committee.

Prior to joining the company, he worked as a lawyer handling litigation, corporate, commercial and intellectual property matters as well as an in-house legal counsel.

Hsiao Kang graduated in 1997 from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) degree and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1998. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
