The centralized platform will support secure information exchange and enable faster risk-based decisions among customs authorities across Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States. 

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia | CrimsonLogic signed a project contract with the GCC Customs Union Authority on 10 September 2026, to implement a centralized platform for exchanging customs risk information among Gulf Cooperation Council Member States.

The project will establish a secure and unified regional environment for customs authorities to exchange risk information and act on emerging concerns. By enabling relevant information reach Member States more quickly, the platform will support closer coordination and faster risk-based operational decisions. 

The platform will use AI-powered technologies to assess, validate and analyze the information exchanged, identify relevant patterns, generate insights and advisories that help customs authorities determine the appropriate response.

It will also issue alerts and publish recommendations and dashboard for Member States.  Together, these capabilities will turn shared risk information into actionable intelligence, giving customs authorities a more consistent view of potential risks and helping them prioritize their response.

The platform will support user and access management, as well as the management of related documents, in accordance with approved GCC information security requirements and standards.

In the future, the platform may be connected to the GCC Customs Union Authority’s main data exchange platform. This would enable closer integration of customs information and further strengthen the region’s ability to respond to evolving security and economic developments.
