Your role
Our System Administration primarily focusing on Windows, Unix, Linux, and Oracle. As a System Administrator, you are tasked to maintain, configure, and support the company systems and servers ensuring limited distruption within the company day to day activities.
You will be involved in all/any of the following key activities:
- Ensure smooth operations that conformed with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and within the budgeted capital and operational expenses.
- Establish ITSM standards, processes and guidelines that are in line with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical consultancy to customers on matters related to system performance, integration and configuration.
- Analyze system performance and makes recommendations for optimization.
- Ensure that the production environment is highly available as per the needs of the business and the established Service Level Agreements.
- Lead and establish Root Cause Analysis for all High Severity issues. Work with multiple teams for successful resolution of issues and incidents.
- Ensure adherence to the applicable Change and Release Management processes.
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
Requirements
System Administrator (Windows)
Years of experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on Windows System and OS clustering administration, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience on managing large scale environment running on server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server.
Certifications:
- MCSA / MCSE / VMware Certification (VCP) / ITIL
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, or any relevant field.
System Administrator (Unix/Linux)
Years of experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on Red Hat RHEL / Oracle Solaris, and OS clustering administration, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience on Middleware e.g. Apache, JBOSS
- Hands-on experience on managing large scale environment running on server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX.
Certifications:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux certification / ITIL
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or any relevant field.
System Administrator (Oracle)
Years of experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on Oracle Database (12c/18c/19c) on Unix/Linux platformExperience in the management of Oracle RAC is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in at least one of the open-source databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc).
Certification:
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or any relevant field.
