Chiew Lan is Head of Trade (Government) Products and is the driving force behind the global implementation of Trade Facilitation Platform (TFP) solutions at CrimsonLogic. Additionally, she holds the position of Project Director, overseeing TradeNet for Singapore Customs.
Prior to joining CrimsonLogic in 2014, Chiew Lan has helmed key roles in IT and project management with UOB, NCS and National Computer Board.
Under her leadership, Chiew Lan has successfully guided her team in deploying various TFP modules across multiple countries. Noteworthy accomplishments include the implementation of Customs Management System, Single Window, Port Control System, Free Trade Zones, and Bonded Warehouse modules in the MEASA and LATAM regions. These deployments have significantly improved trade flows and operational efficiencies in these regions. She was also responsible for managing a team to deliver the LicenceOne Frontend – Whole of Government Business Licensing Portal involving a total of 20 government agencies.
Chiew Lan and her team proactively address challenges faced by customs and government agencies globally, introducing innovations within the TFP product. Demonstrating versatility, she excels in building customer relationships and establishing best practices for project management for her team members. Chiew Lan's strategic vision extends beyond implementation to include talent development and growth within the trade domain. She has strategically broadened the expertise of subject matter leaders in her team and strengthened the TFP delivery specialists. She is also an advocate for industry-relevant training and certification programs to nurture talents.
Chiew Lan holds a Master in Business Systems Analysis and Design from the City University of London, along with a Certification in IT Project Management. Recognized with the “Women in Supply Chain” award in 2022 and 2023, she stands as a committed leader driving digital transformation in trade facilitation.
