Tan Hong Meng is the Head of Global PORTNET (GPN) at CrimsonLogic and Assistant Vice President at PSA International, where he leads the development and global deployment of GPN, enabling integrated port ecosystems that connect port authorities, terminal operators, and the wider logistics community.
Under his leadership, GPN has expanded across multiple terminals in Beibu Gulf Port, China; supported the development of Thailand's Port Community System; modernized Singapore's PORTNET platform; and delivered implementations in Halifax, Canada and Antwerp, Belgium. Between 2023 and 2025, Hong Meng also co-led PSA Group Innovation, championing innovation culture and practices across PSA's global business units.
Prior to his current role, Hong Meng held senior leadership positions at PSA Singapore, spanning Terminal IT for Operations, Planning, Resource Optimization, and Port Community Systems. He led operations planning and automation initiatives that significantly enhanced terminal productivity, including 24/7 control room monitoring, large-scale workforce and equipment deployment systems, and automated gate operations for continuous, efficient terminal performance. From 2014, he drove the development of PORTNET Singapore systems before transitioning to PSA International in 2018 to scale the platform globally.
Hong Meng began his career at National University of Singapore, where he delivered the institution's first online course registration portal for the School of Design in 1997 — an early contribution to large-scale digitalization.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration, both from National University of Singapore.
